I think i's entirely possible that after what Embiid showed in the 23/24 season (before Kuminga fell on him), Nurse et al thought in 24/25 if he was healthy the offense would literally be "let Joel cook" and that would be enough because they had relief valves in PG and Maxey as well. When it all went to shit, they looked lost. Now, with new personnel, it looks like the team can have a clear offensive (and defensive) identity that is much, much more than the heliocentric scoring monster Embiid offense they've run since the Doc days. If it works, it's going to be great to watch, and will help to preserve Joel's knees for the post season. There's never been a season with more "ifs" than this one, but provided they all trend positive, they have a chance to do the funniest thing ever.

While it is possible that the new (and new-ish) players provide energy when needed in a game, Kelly has done this during his time in Philly. If he is traded at the deadline, I hope that we all experience that this energy is no longer needed because of rest of the squad.
