Spike’s Big Board (with my notes)
9 - Tre Johnson - He’s a fun watch. An outrageous shooter and offensive player. I cannot get out of my head that I can’t imagine an NBA starter like him. Seems like a sixth man to me. I suppose he could be an outrageous NBA scorer but he’s so skinny.
8 - Nique Clifford - This guy is really good too. He’s pretty much good at everything. He looks like he plays really hard too. Good at shooting, good at scoring, good at passing, good at defending.
7 - Kasparas Jakucionis - I think this guy is fucking great and I guarantee he’s going to be good. He’s a great passer, and can get anywhere he wants on the floor. He’s definitely a good shooter. I guarantee he’s going to be good.
6 - Collin Murray-Boyles - I love this guy, seems to play way bigger than he is. Really strong and really good underneath the basket. Not scared to dunk on people. Throws awesome passes. Have to say I really love this guy. He’s also fucking awesome at defense.
5 - Dylan Harper - Impressive that he is so good with both hands, plays and a consistent speed, and has an NBA body. He’s definitely pretty good. He’s not usually a kind of guy I like because he doesn’t use his athleticism enough.
4 - VJ Edgecombe - He’s right up my alley. He’s just a maniac. He’s not like Sochan as a player but as a guy he is. He’s always playing at 100 MPH and an outrageous athlete. Also, his shot does not look broken to me or anything and I don’t think the criticisms are quite as on point as Bailey’s are.
3- Jeremiah Fears - I fucking love this kid. I like him better than Tre Johnson. He’s got a sick handle, he’s a good passer and he seems like a good finisher. I know his shooting stats aren’t good but I bet he’ll be able to shoot!
2 - Carter Bryant - I fucking love this guy. I bet he’d score points on a good team. He does all of the good things that Kelly Oubre does. He shoots well, he blocks the shit out of shots, he dunks on people. I enjoy him quite a bit.
1 - Cooper Flagg - All of his videos are very good. I almost feel like he’s gotten too beefy. Very skilled and definitely a pretty disciplined and good player for his age. It has been a while since I thought there was this much difference between #1 and anyone else, just from YouTube videos.
