Basketball: do you think Darryl is/was insecure about the McCain trade given Sam Presti was the counterparty? His hubris about their modeling was wild given who was on the other side of the trade, let alone stating it publicly.
Non-basketball: if you had to consume crap artistic content from basketball executives for a week clockwork orange style, would you listen to Presti's crap jazz rap album or watch Darryl's crap musical?
Basketball question: I’ve been with the pod for a long time and was one of the first 1000 five star reviews. I am very discouraged by the current state of the Sixers and rarely listen anymore (but still read the newsletter). The McCain trade along with the Embiid, et al injuries and George suspension finally broke me. I watched uncountable bad games and listened to the pod during the Process and this is the worst I’ve felt. My question, Can we become an OKC pod? This is a tough ask since I’m a Philly 4 for 4 guy. Isiah Joe and McCain are fun to root for and OKC doesn’t offer hope and endlessly tear your heart out. The self-flagellation of being a Sixers fan is not healthy anymore. Being a Sixers fan is something out of Greek mythology.
Non basketball question: who would win in a rumble, Mike, Spike, CJ, Darryl or Amos?
