I recognize this is a loser comment, but that's what we are right now. What if, instead of shooting 44.8%, NYK had shot 27.4% from 3 PT, like the Celtics did in their losses to us? Would we still feel the same? Oh and what if the Celtics had just shot 30%? Would we even have won? Enter Statman...
The big difference between Boston and NY for the Sixers was that Boston had at least one flawed starter/player that Embiid could be matched against. He could do well enough at the offensive end that his deficiencies at the defensive end weren't fatal. And, of course, in the first round your old veterans/short bench have more energy than in the second round. A key question for me is are there any role players who could develop with excellent coaching into valuable pieces for a playoff-caliber team (like we see Joe, Champagnie, and McCain are), and is Nurse capable of making that happen?

And I recognize that NYK shooting isn't just a random coincidence. They got much clearer looks. But let's play along...

If nature came up with a tiny creature that lived it’s whole life in 1 day, like a mayfly)that only lived to feed on Celtics angst,
