Spike, you did try muttering “Don’t do this” as AU was amping up, which seems to work de-escalating conflict with Mike. Plus it’s very funny. We all go a little mad sometimes.
Have you thought about starting a company where you just go into organizations and yell at people until they stop doing dumb things? A lot of companies would benefit from someone like that
As you note, you and Mike don't argue anymore, which is why this felt like a missed opportunity for some compelling debate content. You might have thought AU's take on the game was dumb/annoying, but I'm sure at least a segment of listeners resonated with it, and would have loved to hear it be engaged with in a constructively-critical way. Even a question around like... okay AU you sound utterly psychotic and I cannot engage seriously with you, but I want you to explain how it is possible that you have this take. This could have yielded some interesting insight around the sorts of thoughts and perspectives that get freed up when someone does not have to react publicly in real time at an every-two-game pace.

I respect you for having the self awareness to even post this follow up. I thought it was funny.
There should be a formalized process for the forgiveness of sins here. Watch 10 minutes of a Celtics game not involving the 76ers all will be forgiven
