The Week in Team Ricky, Sixers Around the League & Zo's Playoff Top 5
A new-look Corner Three has you covered for the weekend.
Zo gave the Corner Three a Spring facelift! Now each week during the offseason you can expect a roundup from the week in Team Ricky, any interesting Sixers intel/opinion Zo finds on the web, and sometimes a few thoughts on it all from the man himself at the end.

Sixers Around the League
Can Paul George rebound after an initial season that saw more downs than ups and only 41 games? Man we need to really hope so. Shoutout Adam Aaaronson (Some guy who wrote this)
Shake Milton, THE Shake, OUR Shake, has been running scout team Anthony Edwards duty alongside Bronny James for the Lakers in prep for their upcoming series with the Wolves. I never been more confident in Lakers in 5.
A really good Sixers Reddit thread about the different energy that existed in the WFC during the Embiid/Simmons era compared to now. I would have to agree, the WFC was ROCKING during those years and has definitely seen tamer crowds even during playoff games, but I think that’s mostly what happens to a crowd that over the years and after many a playoff let down has gone from frantically hopeful to more than cautiously optimistic.
My Top 5 Playoff Edition
The Thunder look like the team to beat in the whole league, but I really like the Cavs and think they can turn it on with the best of them.
I’m a true sicko in that I compare playoff teams to how the Sixers look and one thing I always notice is all these teams seem to have a guy/guys who do great shit on both ends. I feel like such a broken record and I know it’s not just me but man, Daryl Morey HAS got to find guys who can do reasonable good shit on both ends.
Speaking of, I’m not upset that him and Nick Nurse are returning. I think that’s probably best given you have no clue exactly what this team will look like. Why bring a new regime into that?
The Pistons probably won’t beat the Knicks but I think it’ll be closer than people think, maybe even 7 games. This series and Rockets/Warriors might be the best first round series we get.
Will give my Finals predictions next week but as a preview… Thunder Up
