Stock Up

1. Jared McCain

Almost out of superlatives, I said almost, but man this guy is unreal. To add to the irony, he’s officially the odds-on favorite to win Rookie of the Year and should absolutely be in discussion for a starting role. He’s stronger than I thought, quicker than I gave him credit for and showing much better touch around the rim. Once he starts shooting at the clip we expect him to, things might get dicey for a few Sixers vets. 

2. Sixers Rookies

Bona & McCain 2028.

3. Playing Hard

Results obviously extremely on the low end, but no doubt the guys have played way harder in recent days.

4. Kelly Oubre Start to the Season

15 ppg not too shabby at all. 

5. 2024-25 City Edition

Huge upgrade. Rerun for the Sixers somewhat, but still so clean and crisp and impressive.

Stock Down

1. Iso Kelly Oubre

Love you man but please cut it out.

2. Embiid Season Debut

Man oh man. There’s been worse, but will be happy once the big fella is fully back and playing like himself again, whatever that looks like.

3. Star Injuries

A true league-wide epidemic. Team after team. The Pelicans might be down to six healthy guys. 

4. Non-Sixers Rookies

A few bright spots but for the most part… Eh.

5. NBA on TNT

Shaq & Chuck please stop being mean to Joel.
