Rally Around Nate The Great
This is when we're at our best.
We got a note from Nicole, a member of the Ricky community. Nicole and Matt’s son Nate was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor at the age of eight weeks old.
Nicole didn’t ask for anything, to be clear. It was a kind note expressing gratitude for the podcast providing laughs during a tough time. But she did let us know that they’ve started a fundraiser in Nate’s honor for CHOP, as well as selling a t-shirt where the proceeds also benefit CHOP. You can find the fundraiser here, and the t-shirt here (great design by the way).
Nate has a battle in front of him, but has bravely taken on the challenge. We are sharing the fundraiser to help raise money, but mostly sharing to let you know that one of ours should be in your thoughts.
Nicole, Matt and Nate, we’re with you.

Hi, Spike. I noticed your email about Nate the Great and his brain tumor today just as I was reading about a potentially awesome clinical trial using a breakthrough mRNA cancer vaccine that's just opening up for children with brain cancer at the University of Florida. Can you pass this info on to Nate's parents? They may not be aware of it because it's very new. To apply for the trial they would need to contact its principal investigator, Dr. Duane Mitchell at University of Florida Health. More details on the clinical trial can be found on the UF Health Cancer Center website:

Thanks for your and Mike's great work on the pod!
