It’s weird to feel grief over something that never resulted in something to grieve the loss of. But Embiid, injuries and all, has brought so much joy to a joyless era of Sixers basketball. The main source of grief for me is knowing how much he has given to this franchise and how much it must suck when you’ve had such poor luck despite hitting such highs as an individual player.

First, Spike you are a terrible writer. What a poorly written article before we even get to the absurd substance within in. It has been clear for years now what the situation with this guy is to everyone but you. You can cope with that however you want but in the end you both look like jokes because of both of your behavior about the whole ordeal. Just admit you were way off base and mostly wrong about the Process Era. If the team never even got past the 2nd round, how could Embiid be the best 76er of your lifetime? He whined constantly, was always hurt and frequently not in shape and never even made an East Finals? AI should slap the shit out of you for that. Please stick to Radio if you don't know how to write a good, articulate article.

39/9/3 on 32 mins vs hardworking albeit small Pacers. Keep hope alive!

Are yall hiring a writer?? I got denied in the final round of the application process nearly a month ago at this point, assumed there’d be a new writer by now

Well said, Spike. I just wish “we” stopped referring to the play where this last knee injury happened as an “unfortunate Kuminga thing” (loosely paraphrasing general fan sentiment)… when it was really Joel’s fault:

Kuminga fell on Jo’s knee because Jo had the ball slapped out of his hands making a move in the post, and then went sprawling on the floor trying to get it back… i.e., his current knee injury is a direct result of not having strong enough hands… which also has contributed to his many turnovers and not being a good rebounder even when healthy…
