A total disaster has occurred as the New York Knicks have won the NBA title. We talk about the series, the former Sixers who helped, and the guys the Sixers should have gotten. Then we get into a few listener takes on Mike Gansey’s ‘Yeah’ song, some draft talk, and who the next worst possible NBA champion could be.

I’m very sad today. Not even angry but sad. The Sixers broke us, the fan base that is. The worst of the worst franchise won a ring and we gave them 3 of our guys from our backyard. I couldn’t be more sad. I’m happy for Brunson. He would be loved if he was a member of the Sixers. This is worst than when Kobe said “rip the fans’ heart out.” Philly’s own homegrown greats are eating the hearts of this fan base.
I feel like we live in limbo, watching year on year as everyone else participates in and wins. It’s like a timelapse of sitting on the sidelines while seeing everyone else possible winning and having that joy.
