Mad Max Struggles With a Can Opener & Sixers' Back-to-Back Schedule of Doom
Zo recaps a most August week in Sixersville.
Team Ricky Run Down
No Tay Tay pod but equally important news as The Heir to the franchise convincingly struggles with a can opener.
Jobs pod part deux! A glimpse into the life of WIP Spike.
A valiant look back on the 5th anniversary of the second or third most important shot in Sixers history (Solomon Hill you poor bastard).
A great AU piece on the most from here, now most likely to retire here guy on the roster.
Sixers Around the League
League-leading 16 back-to-backs, fuck you Silver.
No rush, remember. Super chill and vibey and we’ll see what October looks like.
I go Wilt, Moses and Jo in that order. Really hoping Jo gets to add to his resume.
Opening night starting 5 will be very interesting should things hold and Embiid and PG begin season on the mend. Also hoping Watford and Walker earn the bulk of those latter minutes, ahead of Drummond and Gordon.
5 for the Road
Outside of the young guys running and gunning, the return of the ECF champs uniform might be the only thing worth celebrating for a bit, so I’m not mad at all at the rollout.
Opening night in Boston again, ho-hum, but a much different look for sure. Will be interesting to see what kind of lineup both teams decide to kick this thing off with.
16 back-to-backs really is insane and honestly doesn’t even set up for good basketball.
Preaching very much to the choir here but a fast start will certainly go a very long way in how the other dominoes fall, and I think said start will hinge a ton on the Maxey/McCain rocket talking off quickly.
Very in on slender Luka. Regardless of how much Bron has left in the tank, slender, out-for-vengeance Luka is definitely up my alley.
