Looking for a New RTRS Writer!
Are you ready to make this Sixers team a dangerously big part of your personal and professional life? Send us an application!
With Dan Olinger moving on from the Ricky — much love to The Danny for his excellent two seasons as part of the family, now he is of course as dead to us as SixersAdam — we are looking for a new writer for the Rights to Ricky Sanchez blog! Do you think you have the sicko stuff it takes to hang with Spike, Mike, AU, MOC, Zo and Abbie? If so, we’d like to hear from you.
For those interested, please send an application to rightstorickysanchez@gmail.com and andrew.unterberger@gmail.com. Your application should include your resumé, a brief explanation of who you are and what you think you could bring to the Ricky, as well as a few Sixers-related writing clips. (If you do more of your work in audio or video than written text, feel free to send us some examples of your work there as well; if you’ve written more about the NBA in general or other Philly sports than the Sixers, you can send us some of that too, but obviously expertise and experience with the Sixers specifically is preferred.)
Please do not write us a form letter. We are looking for writers with perspective and personality and your application should demonstrate both. You may even be called on to appear on the podcast someday! But not dif you are a robot.
Writers will be expected to do one article a week and occasionally contribute to larger staff events and projects. We pay but not as much as a real full-time job of course.
Applications must be submitted by EOD of Sunday, October 12th. After that you can ask nicely but the answer will probably be no.
Thanks and look forward to hearing from y’all!

After reading this, looks like you need an editor as well?
Wow. Sixers Adam first, now The Danny!
