Since starting The Carl Landry Record Club, we’ve been careful to not have it be a “review” of music, rather sharing and celebrating things we love. Unfortunately, I disliked this one piece of music (Sleep Token’s album Even In Arcadia) so much that I had to be honest about it. I offer my apologies to the listener who suggested it.
After that, I had the nerve to say that while that music stunk, “Cliche” by MGK is actually awesome.
Please don’t let this discourage you from suggesting an album. This is the first time it’s happened in four years.
