A Night With Chuck Klosterman and Spike

For Chuck people, Spike people or football people.

Chuck Klosterman is my favorite writer of all time. As I’ve said before, he often is able to write things I think but write them in a way that sounds a lot smarter and more thoughtful than I would be able to.

Chuck has a new book coming out called ‘Football’ and is doing a small book tour to promote it. One stop will be with our friends Midtown Scholar in Harrisburg PA on January 21st, and I’m lucky enough to host it. You can get tickets here, which are available with and without a book (get the book).

The event starts at 7pm, and will include an (at least) hour long talk with Chuck about the book, and plenty of other stuff.

I’m excited to read the book (I’ve got a copy already, humble brag), as Chuck never misses. I will note that I’m a hipster about his books, and always say my favorite of his collection is one of his few fiction offerings, The Visible Man, which is weird and sort of scary.
