About some things during another wait, for it, 80 point 24 hours for Jo Jo Embiid so let's get to it.

Just how good are the Sixers as currently constituted

Currently constituted would mean everyone relatively healthy and contributing so I'd say with that in mind, they're right where they should be, a nice hold on the three seed. Boston (still) is on their own planet but would not surprise me one bit if a pre or post all-star break run puts the Sixers in 2nd place. Not nearly afraid of the Dame Bucks as I was on paper. I do think Daryl Morey believes the most in this team than previous iterations and some of his comments hint to such so I don't expect a major shakeup before the deadline but I absolutely think reinforcements to sure up the front court and secondary guard spot are on the menu.

I'm just going to let Tobias be

I generally have no clue anymore. One night it's 15, the other night it's 37. I can't predict and my head hurts so here we are.

Nick Nurse has gotten buy-in really quickly

Not that I expected them to tell him to go fuck himself but the buy-in that he's gotten starts at the top obviously but it's very clear that everyone believes and listens and guys play hard for him, really all you can ask for when installing a new culture.

Jo taking regular season serious

It's been this way the past few MVP candidate years but I think even this year he's ratcheted things up a bit and is definitely taking shit more serious. Speaks volumes for someone who's so dependent on rhythm and timing.

Pat Bev more than a prop

He literally has played on all 3 units and is much more than a prop/take machine. I love him, I love his tutelage as it pertains to Tyrese Maxey and I think his poise and voice will be incredibly helpful and needed in the playoffs.
