Nick Nurse is an absolute psycho which honestly couldn't hurt a team so lacking in identity and culture and toughness aside from a few dawgs. No coach is without flaws so sure I definitely believe Raptors twitter when they say his rotations never evolve past the same 7 or 8, and he tends to play his starters until their knees turn into sawdust, but on the same token his willingness to try different shit at times and hold 1-15 accountable will certainly be welcome. To be perfectly honest though, it's still very tough to get excited about it given the warts that still need to be cleared up on the roster this summer.

Finals Prediction:
I should learn my lesson now about picking against the Heat and devil magic but I'm going Nuggets in 6 so now fully expect Miami to win in 5

Spike's Corner... Need Your Help

Every week, Spike or Mike will write something for the Corner Three Newsletter. It's Spike's turn, who is talking about the 10th anniversary of the podcast.

10 years of this fucking podcast, pretty wild!

Ricky X is coming up on July 10th (here is our very first episode), and we've got a few things (vaguely) planned. There will (probably) be a special episode, with (maybe) a couple of guests. There will certainly be a ridiculous shirt that Tanner is working on. If you've got any ideas, let me know.

One thing we need help with is an Abbie piece. We are going to do a few Abbie prints, including a special Ricky X print. On this print, Abbie wants to include a bunch of things from a bunch of different Ricky moments, events, etc... Abbie needs YOUR HELP. Please fill out this form, and include whatever iconic, silly, or memorable things from the last ten years that are Ricky or Sixers related that can be included.

In Abbie's words:

My idea for a commemorative rtrs 10 year print was just a bunch of objects laid out together with the pod title & "est. (year)" in the middle. when i say objects, i'm picturing stuff like: clippers to represent the barber debate, toilet paper for wiping debate (ugh), a mask to represent the covid era, diamonds for ll pavorsky, some wings for buffalo wild wings (right??), etc. etc. all that kind of stuff. a basketball, obviously. so i made up a quick google form to invite listeners to recount some ricky stuff that i could maybe translate into objects or images or hieroglyphs or what have you, since i'm obviously not a ricky historian and don't remember all the possible shit.

Sorry, I know this is my week to write something, and this isn't a ton of substance. I have my first ever colonoscopy this morning and they make you drink this liquid that makes it... sort of hard to sit in one place for a while. Also I haven't eaten for a day and a half and I'm going to pass out. Just fill out the form.
