We Interrupt This Program...
Hey! It's Spike. Before we get to Zo's newsletter, a quick note and a request for help.
Perhaps you've heard, or perhaps you have not, but last year The Ringer's Jonathan Tjarks was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer. After a year of fighting, things have taken a very tough turn for the Tjarks family, as Jon was sent home for hospice care. You can read his wife's telling of the story here, and I'd suggest doing it if you haven't yet.
Jon is 34 and his wife is 33, with a very young son, and all have been delivered the most crushing blow. There is a GoFundMe to help support them and their family, along with the even tougher road they have ahead. Anything you can do is appreciated, even a share if you can't afford to donate.
I do not know Jon personally, but I've always enjoyed his writing, and by all accounts is a great person. His wife, who has handled the public updates over the last year, has done so with an amazing amount of grace, honesty and love. They will continue to be in our prayers, and we send our love to Jon, his wife and son, and family and friends.
Hug your people, tell them you love them. Thanks as always.

The Opening Tip
Hello & Happy Almost Weekend - It's the Corner Three!
Oh Yeah, The Sixers
Question Time!
1. Honest thoughts on the Trezz signing?
He is going to be great. Him and James Harden will pick & roll teams to death on offense and he's the exact kind of guy to pair with PJ Tucker to bodyguard Harden, Embiid and Mad Max. I just wish it wasn't at the cost of essentially much less BBall Paul and that Doc Rivers, who literally got fired for refusing to bench him (among other things) wasn't his coach.
2. Do the Sixers have too many dogs/boats?
Trick question, have you seen this team recently when the going got tough?
3. As currently constituted, how does this roster shapeup compared to other top teams in the east?
I still like Boston's a smidge better, plus they are the reigning conference champs so they've earned atleast that much respect. I hate "on paper" but if everyone buys in to the role River and Co. sell to them this is definitely a top 4 group.
4. Birds are back this Sunday. Official prediction?
12-5, NFCCG. Believe in Jalen Hurts!
REAL JUICE + STATESIDE VODKA + SELTZER = AMAZING
GET THIS SHIRT! Just join the Bark In The Park team and raise at least $50.
We're raising money for Providence Animal Center so they can save homeless pets.
The goal is $16,000 raised and 100 team members. We're up to $6,400 and 45 so far.

Our Guys
Alot of good stuff from the Trezz signing and of course some drawbacks, Sixers Adam dived into the Pros and Cons.
A nice amount of cope from our guy, AU but he's right, ultimately it's always about getting Joel Embiid through the playoffs.
