Twas the few hours before free agency...
So Far:
James Harden, true man of honor, held up his end of the bargain and like he said at season's end in wanting to win here and do whatever it took to win here, opted out of his $47 Million dollar option for next year and officially became a free agent, with plans to work out a more team-friendly deal, allowing Daryl Morey more flexibility to put a championship roster around him and Joel Embiid. Other than that, not much in the way of what do the Sixers plan to do with their new found financial flexibility but what the hell, here's my wishlist/best educated guess on how things could shake out,
MLE (Mid-Level Exception) - PJ Tucker
BAE (Bi-Annual Exception) - Otto Porter/Caleb Martin/Donte DiVincenzo/Mike Muscala
Sign & Trade Candidates - Jae Crowder
Wildcards
Tobias Harris trade
Matisse Thybulle trade
Furkan Korkmaz/Shake Milton trade
Now that I put it out there, none of this will probably happen but regardless, the next week or so should be a real doozy, lock all windows and doors.
