The Opening Tip
Hello and Happy March Madness. It's the Corner Three!
Oh Yeah, The Sixers
Something is up, man. Let's examine!
1. Are the vibes off?
So off! Even their wins have looked weird as hell or uninspiring. Almost like there was a thing or sequence of things that threw things off kilter and no one has a clue how to get it right. Maybe burn some sage, go for a team run threw Gettysburg, movie night etc. On the brightside they're 7-2 with Harden and Embiid so take em where you can get em.
2. Tobias half showing signs of life, any promise there?
It sucks because almost all of the Tobias games wind up being duds for everyone else or close to it, which honestly to me speaks to the extremes that Morey/Doc and co. go to to get him going. I still agree some kind of contribution from him will be so needed in the playoffs but wonder if it always has to be at the expense of everyone else looking like shit.
3. They FINALLY beat the slow start allegations and then lost to Denver but beat the Cavs last night. What Gives?
They can't do two things at once, we KNOW this. Also, as depressing as that ending was, I'm happy it was in the Bones Hyland game and happy that they got the dub on Jo's birthday.
4. Doc Rivers said that he likes his roster and can probably go 11 deep. Thoughts?
Next fucking question.
