All-Star Break!

Not too shabby for our guys, doing all of this without their second star (James Harden!) The team is in great position heading into the break and as James Harden said when he was introduced at his press conference as a 76er, after the break it's time to go.
 

1. Midseason MVP

Jo-Jo Embiid, our guy. Not much else to say. I'm so excited for him and what the rest of the season looks like, especially with JH.

2. Pleasant Surprise

HARDEN. Seems cheap but I really didn't think it would happen. In my heart of hearts I didn't buy it happening at all. I'm sorry, I'm tearing up again. 

3. "You gotta give me more"

Tobias. Harris. I'm not even trying to pile on but man, 20 ppg a night Tobias catapults this time right into a championship parade. Please Tobias, we are all, once again, begging. 

4. Never Allowed to be talked about or included in a trade

Tyrese Maxey, Paul Reed, Charles Bassey

The Mandate has been set. AU says now they actually HAVE to win.

What a damn win, on the road, in Milwaukee, last game before the all-star break and (hopefully) last game without Harden. Sixers Adam has more on last night's big dub.

Philadelphia Youth Basketball (PYB) was founded in Spring of 2015 by five passionate civic leaders grounded by a common purpose: to leverage the iconic game of basketball to help today’s underserved youth overcome the most urgent and systemic issues facing their communities. Since its inception, PYB has built a small but mighty staff team, diverse Board of Directors, community-based volunteer pool, and collection of dynamic advisory committees.
