As Spike reported last night, the Sixers have confirmed to us that they have terminated their partnership with Color Star Technology due to a breach of contract.
The Sixers had paused the partnership around the start of the new year with some concern, and had asked Color Star to address those concerns. Was one of the concerns their entire existence? We'll never know.
In recent days, Color Star started promoting things (like hanging out with Sixers players in the Metaverse) that were not part of the agreement. The Sixers told Color Star the deal was over and they will not be revisiting it.
