Simple question for a severely compact subject. Would you trade Ben Simmons?
Yes, expeditiously. I think the relationship between him and the team is strained and I believe that he has less fans in the front office than he did earlier in the season when he was part of Harden talks. He might even benefit very well from a change of scenery. The tricky part though is his value is probably all over the place right now and Daryl Morey won't and shouldn't get him outta here just for the sake of it.
What player(s) disappointed you the most this season/playoffs?
George Hill was either OK or you literally found yourself and people you were watching playoff games with ask just what the fuck was he doing out there. The thumb causing him to miss a ridiculous amount of time obviously didn't help but man he sometimes left a ton more to be desired in the playoffs. He has a very tradeable contract though so all things considered he may be worth it just for the financials.
Alot of talk of "mortgaging the future" should a Lillard/Beal/Lavine become available this summer. Thoughts?
My thoughts are some of ya'll are fucking lunatics. Joel Embiid is your best player by a universal mile and the ONLY player on that roster who should be untouchable in any kind of talks to upgrade the roster by way of trade. This front office owes all it has to do whatever it takes to build a winner around Embiid. He's done everything asked of him so now it's time for Morey and Co. to show & prove.
Scott O'Neil stepped down yesterday, any parting words?
None that won't get me on a watch list so instead I'll just say GFY, live long and be where your feet are.
