It certainly hasn't been a fun post all-star break for Ben, who offensively, has not looked himself at all, averaging about 5 turnovers per game and a shitty 50% true shooting percentage. Could be the lack of the space from playing with non-stretch 5's, could be the knee, or could just be something we don't know yet. The team certainly has held its own during these Embiid-less weeks, but the coaching staff and Joel will need Ben to figure it out quick during this race for the 1 seed and more importantly the playoffs. 

Steady Tobi:

Nuggets game aside (for the whole team, really) he's been his usual all-star caliber self, racking up wins and Player of the Week votes.

Matisse from 3?

Have to shout him out because the past few games he's really showed the willingness to pull it from beyond the arc when he was given the chance and it's really made a difference. Going to keep pounding the all hands on deck drum here, but if this can continue into May and June it will take this second unit to a whole new level.

Dwight, What the Fuck

He's fine (at times) but other times the bit is very annoying and the techs and flagrant fouls and pushing and shoving etc I get are all part of the game, but when you lead the league in one of those categories you just place the biggest bullseye on your back each night. His services will be sorely needed (until the Muscala buyout) to help give Jo some air while he ramps up during his reportedly soon-ish return to the lineup so I hope he gets the message to chill.

Looking Ahead

The good guys wrap up the longest road trip on earth tonight in Cleveland, who has had their number both times they've played this year so uhhhh yeah. This is thankfully their last game without the big fella who will return to action for some Saturday night home cooking against the Wolves. George Hill on the otherhand is walking from OKC so he'll join the team this weekend but is probably a few more days away from his on-court debut.

I've personally told whoever will listen that I want no parts of the Heat in the playoffs (aside from the Nets of course). The always awesome Andrew Unterberger brings back coward hours and ranks each Eastern Conference team according to how little he wants to play them in the playoffs!
