Ricky App Beta Testers
We are in the final stages of a Ricky app (!!!) thanks to our friend Jonathan Chen. We are looking for a small group of initial beta testers. We only need 50 now, so we'll take the first 50 before we open it up to a larger group. For now, it's iPhone only.

Oh Yeah,The Sixers
"For what's about to be a whirlwind 2 months, happy and healthy takes premium over everything else!"
Well, 1/2 ain't bad I suppose! A mere 24 hours after last week's newsletter we were hit by an 18-wheeler in the form of the hyperextension heard (and seen) around the world. While the MVP takes 2-3 weeks (and longer if you need it Jo, no rush!) the rest of his brothers in hoops will hold down the fort and damn if they haven't done a great job so far, going 2-1 and in all actuality it should be 3-0 (hate the Bucks!!).
We have more than enough data that shows us how different a team the Sixers are without Joel Embiid (MVP, best player in the NBA) but this is the first time this roster iteration and coaching staff will be without him for much more than a game or 2 so here's some things I'll be looking for:
Ben & Tobias Picking up the slack
We thought we knew alot but we're about to find out a whole lot more about two other all-stars on this team (fuck yes Tobias is an all-star). I think we'll see Ben continue to do Ben things (downhill attack, guard the opposing team's best player, push it whenever the chance presents) but we should look at Tobias hopefully being more aggressive early on as well as continuing his 4th quarter closer heroics. Above all else, the leadership of both of these guys will mean the most when the team heads out west for its toughest stretch of the season in a few days.
Seth Back to form (again)
He was finally looking like himself then of course nastily turned an ankle. Get well and get confident my bro.
Shake Wake Up!
Maybe it's the time he missed, maybe he's too jacked (as a fellow jacked guy, I get it) but man this second unit will need him to snap back into 6th man form quickly for right now and when the roster is back to full force.
Morey Szn!
The Embiid injury came at such a weird time, and honestly most times with this team are weird so that makes sense. Anyway, Morey has been adamant in the past couple of weeks that we should not expect the homerun shot that his offices are usually known for because it just doesn't exist this year as the Beal, Lavine, Lowry rumors have seemed to cool off considerably. I still believe Morey will do his due diligence and try his best to upgrade the middle/backend of the roster most likely in the form of a true stretch big and ball handler/shooter. Tony Bradley & Dwight Howard have logged great minutes Basketball Paul Reed, the team's 4th all-star, has earned, I think, some minutes for the rest of the season so we'll see what Daryl & Doc think of their crew moving forward.
Road Ahead
The good guys have a Saturday date at home with the Kings and head on the road for 6. SIX. SIX FUCKING GAMES, including the Warriors/Lakers/Clippers in a 4 night span. Should be fun!

The Rest From The Best
Sixers vs Bucks was wild and all sorts of nuts and at some points just annoying. Our guy Sixers Adam has his take along with three very normal things from last night.
AU has officially, finally, (for good?) come around. Tobias Harris is much different this season and it's paying off in a huge way for the Eastern Conference's number one seed.
Seven days to the trade deadline and there's still some major questions for Doc River's locker room and roster. Mike O'Connor has 4 major ones that need to be answered by the time March 25 comes and goes.
