The First Ricky Spinoff Pod

Hey, it's Spike, not Zo. Just for a moment. The Carl Landry Record Club is now its own podcast. It's a great day. I'm going to tell you what it is, and why it is.

While basketball was shut down, Mike and I introduced a new segment to the podcast called the Carl Landry Record Club. This was when listeners would send us albums that they love, and we'd listen to them. It was fun, but basketball returned, and there's just not enough time to do it. So we gave it its own podcast, hosted by me and our friend Mutlu.

The podcast will retain the same idea; to recommend, talk about, and find new music that isn't suggested to us by the Spotify or Apple algorithm. It's a great way to find music you may have never found before.

Every episode Mutlu will suggest an album that I'll listen to, I'll suggest one from him, and we'll take one from you. We'll also have musicians we love and respect on regularly. If you'd like to suggest an album, leave it in the Apple reviews here.
