Well, A Chevy Is A GM
After their long, exhaustive search for a new general manager, one that took the Sixers far and wide, they decided that our very own, on the t-shirt, officially process, veteran leadership, all-around-good-guy Elton Brand was the move after they were unable to pry Daryl Morey away from the Rockets. Sure, why not. Let's get weird.
The guys did an emergency podcast last night, which is usually some of their best, and worst material. Check it out. Remember, you can now subscribe to the Ricky on YouTube for the exact same content with a still image.
Here's a photo of Elton taking advantage of Vlade Divac years before Sam Hinkie did. Here's what Philly Voice's Kyle Neubeck had to say about the Elton Brand hire. Here's what The Ringer had to say. Speaking of the Ringer, Mike was on John Gonzalez's podcast to talk about the GM search just hours before it concluded. It's already outdated but listen to it anyway because they do talk about Markelle Fultz 150,000 times.
Doug Collins said he ran out of his shoes, but Elton Brand had his own signature shoes, so maybe this will work out better than that did.
