Saturday Night!
You spoke, and we listened. You wanted the Live Ricky to be on a Saturday night (not a Friday night, not a Saturday afternoon), and we did it. You wanted the Live Ricky to be all ages, that's done too. You wanted seats, there will be seats. You thought we should check the next member of the Process Core Four off the list and get Dario to come over for it, we did that too. Now it's time to enjoy the fruits of our labor. Doors are 6:30, make sure you get there early so we can all hang out.
Saturday at the Electric Factory, Dario will join us for a ridiculous interview. We'll give him the welcome of a lifetime. We'll give the speeches for the first three inductees into the Process Hall of Fame. We'll have a live performance of the "Imagine (The Process)" to kick off the show. Two people will be randomly selected from the crowd to sit on stage during the show on Big Barker dog beds. Spike has started to once again say he's never doing this again. All of the information is here, and you can buy tickets here as well. They're $29.99 in advance, but $35 the day of the show (if they last that long).
Negative Sam Hinkie Talk?
For what might be the first time since the drafting of Jahlil Okafor, there was a touch of negative talk about former Sixers general manager Sam Hinkie and his side projects on the podcast released this morning. We also go over the Sixers rankings in the Sports Illustrated Top 100, JJ Redick's use of "they" vs. "we" when talking about the Sixers, potential Jimmy Butler trades, and more. Listen to the pod here.
Another Gem From Andrew Unterberger
Nobody writes about The Process from the heart like AU. He penned this masterpiece about 2016's Hinkie billboard placed right outside of the Wells Fargo Center. Speaking of Andrew Unterberger, his sponsor, Kinetic Skateboarding, has these sweet Kelly green Vans. Don't miss out on them.
