The Very First Ricky
Spike and Mike decided that if they didn't take a couple of weeks off from talking to each other for three hours about the Sixers, they might not ever recover. They are weak, but it's important to be able to admit that at times, we're all weak. But they didn't let me take two weeks off, so, with that...
The Jrue Holiday Trade
During the two week break, we'll be posting some of the more memorable older podcasts (thanks, #RTRSRelisten guy). We begin with the first podcast Spike and Mike ever did together. It was after the Jrue Holiday trade, and two weeks later, they'd do their first Ricky. Check out the very first pod.
Friday Deadline
On Saturday's podcast, Spike, Mike and AU determined the very first nominees for the Process Hall Of Fame (Ish Smith and 'The James Anderson Game'), but there will be lots of nominees. You have to get your nominations in by Friday at midnight. Do it here, or no complaining.
Friends Of The Ricky
Perhaps you remember Amos Lee, who penned the only theme song we've ever used that was recorded just to be our theme song, and also was the first ever fill-in Ricky guest host. Unfortunately, due to some rights issues, we couldn't continue to use his song. HOWEVER, Amos has a new album coming out on August 31st, and you can hear two songs from that album already, "No More Darkness, No More Light," and "Hang On, Hang On." Then you can pre-order the album here.
Perhaps you remember Dan Pfeiffer, who told us some great Barack Obama basketball stories and we've heard had his own podcast. He's got a book out right now that's worth checking out.
Pablo Torre has taken a break from his "marrying people" career to host a new TV show.
