So, The Draft Is Thursday
Normally we all have weeks and weeks and weeks to prepare ourselves for the NBA Draft. This year, because the Sixers were (too) good, and then Bryan Colangelo had (too many) burner accounts, we've had to squeeze it all into a couple weeks. Spike and Mike have had some very special guests on to talk about the Sixers at #10, #26, and all of the second round picks they'll sell for cash or trade to move up for Anzejs Pasecniks' little brother.
The Ringer's Danny Chau
The Ringer's own Danny Chau joined the guys to talk about the parrots that wake him up on Saturdays, Nigerian soup and of course who he thinks fits best for the Sixers.
A Real NBA Scout
Elan Vinokurov of EV Hoops and Scout U joined the guys to discuss why he doesn't have Luka Doncic in his top three and the french guy that Mike brings up on every pod.
Big Boards
Mike broke down his top 73 prospects in the draft on his Big Board and Spike gave his 11 best that he 'carefully' scouted on the internet on his YouTube Big Board.
Also...
They discussed the Kawhi rumors and what sort of trade they'd make to get him, and introduced our newest sponsor, the Colony Meadery. Mead is gluten free booze made from honey that you'd be familiar with if you watched Game Of Thrones (or at least that's what Mike said). Colony does it best. Use code 'RICKY' for $5 off. As well, we'll have the first ever non-Spike Ricky coming before the draft and of course the annual draft night pod.
The Ringer Draft Guide - Danny, (the banned) Kevin O'Connor and Jonathan Tjarks break down the draft.
The Athletic - Godner on whether the Sixers should go after Kawhi and Mike O'Connor (not banned) on Zhaire Smith.
Liberty Ballers - community Big Board.
Andrew Sharp - Is the worst but also wrote this profile on DeAndre Ayton.
Legs - is tweeting too much.
