RESCUE MEAD
Finally, the gluten-free booze made from honey has shelter dogs (and one cat) on the cans. There are only 200 cases, the first 76 case purchases get posters, and you don't have to leave the house to order it. Get it here.
You know the story, we got eight-long time residents of the Providence Animal Center and Brandywine SPCA, and put them on cans of Colony Mead. We want to shine some spotlight on both shelters and these good boys and girls.
Look, the world is crazy right now. We are all scared. I'm scared! But some of the places having the toughest times are small, local businesses (like or friends at Colony), and non-profits like Brandywine and Providence. They need your help desperately, for the animals they save and the people who save them.
So even if you don't buy any of the mead, consider a donation to one of the shelters.
STUFF TO KILL TIME
Mike isn't sure we should be doing podcasts if they're not about basketball. Tweet at him and let him know what you think. Then watch his show Perfect Harmony on HULU.
Sixers Adam's latest piece and Andrew Unterberger's last piece.
Here's a video of a dog repeatedly jumping into a pile of leaves.
Here is a Covid-19 inspired playlist of songs and a new Love Songs podcast that I did with Jason from Billboard. It'll take up 80 minutes for the podcast alone, and there are 31 songs.
The Field of 64 Jigsaws!
If you can, buy something from one of our local sponsors who need us right now. You can do it all online for all of them! Kinetic Skateboarding, LL Pavorsky Jewelers, Big Barker Dog Beds, Colony Meadery, if you get hurt without leaving your house and it's someone else's fault call Kornblau, and see how lower interest rates can make getting a Delaware shore house even better with Adam Ksebe.
Obviously Flip The Switch won't be happening on April 11th, but we still want to figure out how to adjust and do what's right for our charities. We will let you know ASAP.
As a final thought...
This is the toughest thing I've ever been through, and the toughest thing most of us have been through. Times like this bring out the worst in some, but the best in most. I wouldn't get through it without you, and we won't get through it without each other. Do what's right and safe, help others how you can, and realize that we are truly all in this together. Love you.
