[02.25.17] Simmons Done For The Year But Sixers Keep On Winning
Ben Simmons isn't going to play this year, and the Sixers are out to prove that does not matter.
As Mike predicted to save his own sanity the minute the injury happened, Ben Simmons will not play for the Sixers this year. Bryan Colangelo announced this during his Friday press briefing, though our friend John Barchard announced it several hours earlier.
We discuss the press conference, Simmons sitting the year, the continued knee troubles for Joel Embiid, and the Sixers as the Indians from Major League.
We also talk to Dr. Marc Legere, about the Simmons and Embiid injuries. Dr. Legere is a nationally recognized Chiropractic physician specializing in soft tissue and sports injuries. Dr. Legere has worked on hundreds of professional athletes in the NBA, NFL, MLB and NHL who are suffering from injuries around the body.
