5 (Preseason) Questions!
1. Kyrie for Ben?
Absolutely filed under shit that's not possibly happening but gotta discuss because both players are currently at major odds with their respective employers. I don't even know where I'd want to start but while I'm not a runaway yes or no to this specific swap, I certainly would have to think long and hard about it. And...not for nothing, but I truly take Kyrie at his word that he would file for retirement immediately if he was ever traded, regardless of destination.
2. First preseason game thoughts?
It was definitely fun to see the guys out and running again. Isaiah Joe once again showed why it will paramount for him to get more than meaningful minutes this season. Andre Drummond actually played well because fuck me.
3. *Sigh* What do you make of the latest round of as the Sixers/Klutch/Ben turn?
Rich Paul overestimated how much private and public support this process (no pun intended) would have, and more than anything, underestimated just how little shame the Sixers, the Philadelphia 76ers, of all teams, have. Tsk Tsk, Richard.
4. What are you looking for in tonight's game?
Looks increasingly like it will be the debut for Tobias Harris and Joel Embiid so will be fun to get a first look at those two obviously, and seriously want to see just how much time Isaiah Joe has carved out for himself. He's had really good practices as told to us by his head coach so hoping that's rewarded.
5. This year's hashtag of choice?
#LetPaulPlay very self explanatory but withhold the right to update as I see fit.
